You NEED functional training! Let me explain. Once you have been working out consistently for about 6 months, exercises like single leg squats and single leg deadlifts challenge your core on a whole different level.

Challenging your core increases your stability, strength, and efficiency. It's not talked about much, but stability is actually the bedrock of proper fitness training. It is critical for injury prevention. It helps you get better faster at other exercises. Not to mention that it is FUN to see how long you can go haha. I've made this workout as tactical as possible so that you can follow along.
This workout includes a dynamic warm up (of course) but is not recommended for beginners. Most intermediate exercisers can do this workout 3 times a week with no problems but check with your doctor if you have concerns!

All of your muscles will have to work together to get through this one. But special empahsis has been placed on the gluteus maximus, quadriceps, core, shoulders, and arms. You might get some hamstring activation from the single leg deadlifts but nothing major :) Add spectacular nutrition on top of this and you honestly really and truly CANNOT go wrong!
